How people care for their dead (Pt. 1)
in the mountains the mirrors are four chairs
we had a garden and our small palms cut across it
so the house filled with ravens
not equal to the new one
they kept our yellow birds in pyramids
four children grate cheddar in a basement
and in a window we see bears shaking hands
long balmy strides fill the width and contract
left in piles missing orange fibers
like gears made serpentine
to fill new emotions with letters
our goalie
the upside
down smile
took a rubber
stamp to us
