A sentence means that there is a future

A sentence means that there is a future

Sit under a tree too long and the tree
resembles a piece of furniture,
the setting for all your difficult
conversations. All conversations
are difficult. The moles have
the right idea: burrow towards
explanation. A tree means the grass
has ambition. There is no miscreance
the dirt can’t forgive. I want you
to talk to me. I am still your hungry bride—
my wedding dress blooms in the garden.
The dress means the garden proliferates.
