Day Poem
For Mel Nichols & Sara Mumolo
It had me low
at the tone the time in yr boiling water is
we were luckiest
in a deadstick landing
I blew a man for $15
and felt like a used Porsche
Canada as the foggy day
is trying to clarify its vision
mobilizing a bubbly clementine
the economies of stranger
on a mountainous of the soggy ruins
of a magic carpet all mildewed
and come to pieces in the Cape winter
Today I blew the meaning of self-pity
out of town in masked white
my magic carpet for
coping and living life like never
I'm currently foggy and
and slowed down but I was quietly flying
