the nurse tells me
they've both been here,
that no amount of money
in their savings account
eased their depression
when they couldn't
find work--
                      i can relate
except for the millions
stowed away part--
the nurse says, miss
russia was upset she
couldn't find work,
even with her pretty face
--she was upset she
was losing
her clothes and jewels

she came here
and gave away
her clothes
to the patients
