Adriana Grant’s poetry has appeared in 3rdbed, LIT, Diagram, Bird Dog, and Filter magazines, and on Seattle Metro buses. Her work won third prize in 3rd bed’s First Annual Prize for Poetry and Fiction, selected by Rosemary and Keith Waldrop. Washington State’s Artist Trust has twice awarded her grants in support of my writing, in 2005 and 2008. Her manuscript, entitled Bang, Pouf, was short-listed for the Slope Editions Book Prize last year, and was a finalist for Alice James Books’ Beatrice Hawley Award in 2006. Grant grew up in small-town New Hampshire and has lived in Seattle since 1995.
