For you: who can’t see color.

Since you say
You can't see
Let me tell you
The glory that is
The thirsty sun
Kissing brown skin.
Open mouthed
That light
You'll never know
You dont see color
You can't hear
The echo
Of my ancestors
Our blood moves
Like light
Like heat
And you ain't never know.
You can't see
The most innocent among us
And dance
In your ugly blind shadow
And yet
The sun finds us
To kiss
Like Mothers
And lovers
