Jenny Drai has lived all over the place and worked all sorts of odd jobs. Her work has appeared recently in or is forthcoming in American Letters and Commentary, Denver Quarterly, Dusie, Everyday Genius, Handsome, and New American Writing. She is the author of two chapbooks, “: Body Wolf :” (Horse Less Press, Spring 2014) and “The New Sorrow Is Less Than The Old Sorrow” (Black Lawrence Press, Spring 2015), a full-length collection of poetry, “[ the door ]” (Trembling Pillow Press, forthcoming, 2015), and a novella, “Letters to Quince” (Artistically Declined Press, 2015). In addition, “Fear of Endings,” a novel about everything from Jesus to Gilgamesh to polar bears to kung fu, was a past finalist in the Subito Press Prose Prize.
