Costmary

The ordinary costmary
purgeth choler and phlegm,
openeth obstructions,
relieves viscera.

Taken in whey, it worketh more effectively.
Taken in the morning, it consumes
all rheums
from head to stomach.

For those that fall into continual evil,
the seed is given;
so is the infusion of flowers in white wine,
two ounces at a time.

To heal old ulcers, boil
with oil of olive and adder's tongue
and strain. Put in a little wax
to make it stick.
