WHICH SNOWSTORM IS STILL ALIVE

the neighborhood
does not wonder.

It is still winter
among poplars and pines.

We have less sayings
to maintain.

Under cover of misfortune
I go plowing through noise,

I go lifting everything
but my arms.

Which snowstorm
can hear me.

Which human
alights.

I am nobody
but listening,

some unexplained
wife.
