There is no synonym for razor: knife has too many uses: edge is only at the extremity of meaning: sharp can be used to describe wit: shave is closest, though it can be bloody, and is a verb: razors are precise, explicit, well-defined.
A specter can escape from the throat: expectorate; to cough or spit out phlegm from the throat or lungs: phlegm; the thick viscous substance secreted by the mucous membranes of the respiratory passages, especially when produced in excessive or abnormal quantities: ectoplasm; a supernatural viscous substance that is supposed to exude from the body of a medium during a spiritualistic trance and form the material for the manifestation of spirits: spirit is a synonym for specter, which can escape from the throat: see razor.
It is not recommended to expose a razor that has been frozen and reheated to the skin: metal changes shape when exposed to extreme temperatures: skin changes shape when exposed to certain metals: mercury is a melted metal, and is used in thermometers: any arson can tell you mercury expands when exposed to fire: it is not recommended to expose mercury to fire, or the skin.
Grasp the razor firmly when shaving your face, legs, head, or armpits: it is easier to grasp the object razor than the word razor: it is easier to grasp the word razor than to grasp the word grasp: the word grasp folds in on itself, as the hand does when grasping the razor: occasionally the mind folds in on itself, as the hand does, when grasping a razor.
